RE chroming vent windows?
Anyone out there had their vent windows re-chromed? How did it turn out? How expensive was it?
Mine have some pitting issues inside and outside. Not a fan of aftermarket parts. |

There's a nice set in the classifieds if you didn't see them.

A friend of mine just priced having his done for his '65 Chevelle and they were $500.00 each. Although they would be a little more involved than the truck ones plating has skyrocketed in the last couple of years.... LockDoc

Re: RE chroming vent windows?
I had a 67 set redone in Alberta Canada and was around $400.00. a little high I thought but they did a exceptional job and I do see them every time im in my truck so that made the price ok.

Re: RE chroming vent windows?
Holy crap I was thinking like $100 for the pair. I have had parts chromed but it has been a long time.

Re: RE chroming vent windows?
Re chroming is outrageous these days. Board member Roger Koop sells restored/re chromed sets occasionally, might want to check with him.
