Finally got truck back!!!!

I finally got truck back took me over 6 months. Had a fender bender in my 72 and that gave me an excuse to change to a 68 front clip. Picked up clip from a Board Member and truck sat in a paint shop for five months! Took to another paint shop and had back in 2 weeks. Not the best paint job but very happy overall. her are some before, during and after shots.

Re: Finally got truck back!!!!

will take some more pict after i get it a little more cleaned up. The paint job has some flaws but this is my daily driver and i only paid 750.00 for bodywork and paint and buffing so i cant complain I guess. Just glad to be driving it again.

Re: Finally got truck back!!!!

That's a sharp truck!! What are the wheel and tire size. That looks exactly how I want mine to sit when finished.

Re: Finally got truck back!!!!

Truck was going to be painted by a relative of a buddy and he was going to only charge me 400.00. But unfortunatley insurance work came first and this was low on his list of priorities. Tire sizes are 245/40/20 for the front and 275/35/20 for the rear.

Re: Finally got truck back!!!!

Since we are on this subject...What is all required to make an successfull conversion? And How much money would it take if bought all new? The hood and fenders is obvious, does the radiator support need to be changed? My fenders need to be changed anyway due to rust and probably will get me a cowl hood too so what else need to be bought.

Re: Finally got truck back!!!!

Holy crap.....what are those tire????? 625/25ZR28??? Just joking. I know there is no such tire just yet but those look to be thin as hell in the sidewall.

Re: Finally got truck back!!!!

Beautiful truck! I'd say that it was a good $750 spent. What kind of suspension is the truck riding on?
