Pictures of our Trucks with Modern Wheels?

I was wondering what out trucks '67-72' would look like with the new Factory wheels? Any pictures? Thanks!

they generally don't fit. Some exceptions, but even those ones don't quite look right

Re: Pictures of our Trucks with Modern Wheels?

On most of the newer factory wheels the offsets are wrong. They can be spaced out. But as longhorn said they never do look quite right.

Re: Pictures of our Trucks with Modern Wheels?

there's a few, and I honestly hope they get posted... I'm not trying to be a thread crapper. The question comes up about once every week or two, so the interest is there, and I know there's a handfull of 3/4 ton guys with them and more than a few 1/2 ton guys with spacers...

Not mine, but a truck that I checked out on Long Island a month ago. Has the 2010 17" on it.

Re: Pictures of our Trucks with Modern Wheels?

Here are mine, and I agree, the offset just aint quite right, but they were "free" so whatever. what I would like to do is put the hummer wheels off my diesel on it when the tires are more worn out. the backspace is better.

I also want to see 02 and up Dodge 2500 17"'s on one of these trucks. think they would look nice is a retro-mod kind of way

The Hummer H2 wheels actually have about 1/2" more backspace than your PYOs currently on the truck, but the fact that they are 2" wider, they will stick out a little further. They still have 5.5" of backspacing.

The Dodge 2500 17s will sit further in than your 16" GM PYO's, they have about an inch more backspacing than your PYO's.

Camaro 2011 Wheels?

My Wife may be getting some aftermarket FOOSE Wheels.
I'd have to photoshop these 1st, to see if I'd like them enough to steal them from her.

those 20 Tahoe wheels are nice, its about time Gm started making decent looing wheels.

I wish they would put some bigger wheels on their duallys

I have the front center caps on now. I just need to get some dually center caps for the rear or run a a spacer.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Pictures of our Trucks with Modern Wheels?

Will the rims off a 2004 chevy 1500 SS fit? or is it the same offset problem

Re: Pictures of our Trucks with Modern Wheels?

The only issue with the new comaro rims is the bolt pattern is 5x4.75, which is not a common truck bolt pattern.

You would have to convert the front spindles and rear axles. Surely that can be done, but I am not for sure. Anybody got any insight on this?
