and yet another issue, the drama continues..

ok so as many of you guys know i am having a problem with my compression and i figured out that it is more than likely a head gasket. but now i have another problem. i took my truck to a local do it your self car wash to make the motor look like a motor, instead of looking like the thing from the blue lagoon crawled up and died in my engine compartment. after all of this was said and done i went to start her back up and she ran fine till i put her in drive. she would sputter then die. well i managed to get back on the road, but if i got on the gas it would sputter and almost stall, and if i was slowing down it would sputter and die and i have no idea what the heck is going on. anyone got some kind of idea?? could a head gasket blown between 2 cylinders cause it to do that??

Take the cap off and blow it out with your air compressor (if you have one).

Or use WD40, then wipe it out with a dry rag.

Too much eggnog?
I put a wal-mart bag over my dist. before washing, degreasing my motor.
A little silicone around the seal helps too. With a clean motor you might be able to see the head gasket leak

Gotta love that WD-40. I regularly partially submerge my ATV. A quick spray on the solenoid & its like nothing ever happened.

Although, I suppose I could just drive like I had some sense...?

Re: and yet another issue, the drama continues..

When I was using mine as a daily driver, you would never catch me without a can of 5-56 under the seat. This stuff seamed to dispense the water better during a monsune type rain storm then the WD-40.
