Re: Need help Identify this seat
Not a fabric that was offered in our truck that I know of. It looks like correct bench seat, just that someone redone it different. I see that it folds forward, so it should be from a 67-68?

Re: Need help Identify this seat
I'm about 90% sure that's not original. It tilts, but 67 68 did not have a tilt lever or the chrome..

Re: Need help Identify this seat
The back of the seat looks thinner than normal to me. I have not ever seen the chrome piece on a truck seat either.

Re: Need help Identify this seat
It's not a 67-72 GM pickup seat so don't figure on a seat cover made to fit one to work in that. If that's the seat you want to use you'll want to have a cover made for that seat. Maybe if you remove the seat cover (that covers the upholstery) and we can see the fabric we could recognize it from what car it was in. I'm guessing, since it was in your truck, someone put the seat on the truck mounting brackets

Re: Need help Identify this seat
$1,000 is insane. Go find an upholstery shop that is ok with "earning" their money rather than one that just wants all they can get for very little effort. Or,keep looking on the parts board for a covered 67-72 seat or one that needs covered you can buy a ready-made cover for. Many here are sportin' seats from the '80s trucks that you can find in nice shape for pretty cheap
