Re: relocating ignition?

Take the ignition key off of the ring. Then the rest of the keys won't be hanging down. That seems a whole lot easier that relocating.

Re: relocating ignition?

What I did on mine...

Made a duplicate. Placed it in my key chain. Used the other single key for the ignition switch. Keep my other keys in my pocket.

The reason for the duplicate is in case I forget and leave the key in the ignition. Which I've done more often than I'd care to admit.

why do you need a duplicate if you leave it in the ignition???... just open up the door and get your key out.

I guess I should have mentioned. I have 3 trucks and a suv. By "mine" I meant all of them. I use a single key on all the vehicles and keep spares in my key chain. I have up to 10+ keys on my key chain/ring and it will also wear down your ignition switch with all the weight...
