What's this worth? need opinions
I have located a almost 100% rust free blazer (what I am told). This is the first time I have bought something in this condition but I am looking for a project that I can work on a little bit at a time when we get extra money here and there.
Its a 72. no motor, has the 4speed and 205 still in it. No A/C. Guy does work with fiberglass molds and supposedly made this top from another. It would take some re-inforcing I am sure. The dash was cut to mount a massive CB it looks like. I don't even think a CD player bezel will cover it up. No front seats. he has another used from grille for it and another tailgate, Original bumper and tailgate are dented. What is a good price for this thing? I understand, not having rust is a good start, but I don't know what a good price is? He WANTS $5000 for it. It has custom for sale signs as you will see.

Re: What's this worth? need opinions
If it's TRULY rust free it MIGHT be worth half that. If it's has "normal" rust it's probably not worth much more than $1,000. With no motor and seats like you say maybe not even $1,000.

With what you have in the description and pics, $2500 is the most I would do. A lot of stuff to get and or fix. I agree with 71swb4x4 if it has any rust.

Re: What's this worth? need opinions
I definitely wouldn't give more than $1,000 for that.

Re: What's this worth? need opinions
What it is worth is the sum of the salvageable parts. Which isn't much.

Re: What's this worth? need opinions
I probably wouldn't expect more than $500-800 for that
Here's what you can get in the Seattle area around that price http://skagit.craigslist.org/cto/2373257940.html http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/2418002332.html And closer to what I would expect to pay for that truck - http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/2421681673.html
