Anyone ever done an AC retro?
I am looking at a 67 pickup without AC. I was wondering if anyone has had experience installing an original indash AC unit from a donor truck? I have a 72 junk cab with air. I know Id have to change the interior dash and probably "graft " part of the firewall and change heater box, etc.
I also am thinking of updating the fuse panel from the 72 by grafting that part of the f.wall while Im cutting. I do plan on hooking the AC up. Any suggestions, or know of a GOOD 67 cab with AC? THANKS! |

I'm in the process of doing this right now. If you do a search for posts I've started then you'll find alot of pics I've taken from doing this swap.
