whats been done with stepside tail lights
Ok i know this isnt a 67-72 but this is where i usually hang out and the guys over in the 73-87 section arent talking so i thought i'd ask you guys. I'm going to pickup a stepside bed for my 77/84(mix breed) K10 chevy i drive for everyday. It currently has a fleetside bed on it which i like but the bed is getting rough and i found a great deal on this stepside bed. The only thing is that it is missing the taillights. So what kind of non-stock lights have you guys used on your stepside beds that look good. I was thinking about some round L.E.D trailer tailights. Lets see some pics. Thanks

Re: whats been done with stepside tail lights
I don't have any pics, & a previous owner made the changes.
My '69 step side has a chrome rear bumper. They plasma cut 2 ovals in the bumper for "boat trailer" lites, the ones that sit in an oval (obviously) rubber grommet. Nothing fancy, ¬ particularly expensive, & it just sets the truck off as being a little different. Hope this helps. |

Heres one of my favorites, it's basically "trailer" lights with blue dots in em. IMO the blue dots bring em together

Good pic.
That's the thought I was trying convey; that style tail lite mounted in the bumper, between the bumper bolts. |
