Torq Thrusts - 16" or 17"????

Ok, I am about to lower and buy new wheels and tires for my '72 Shortbed Fleetside. I need for someone to post a profile pic of a similar truck with a 4"/6" drop and 16" or 17" wheels. I don't really care for the extreme low profile tires. This would really help me decide what size wheels and tires to get. As we all know, once you buy 'em you can't take 'em back. Show me what ya got! Thanks in advance.

My neighbor who sells tires and wheel told me to ge the 17" because of the better verity of tires available. I am not sorry the large wheels really make a difference. Ed ke6bnl

This is my truck I bought about 4 yrs ago. This pic is a 4-6 drop and 255/50 17 front and 275/50 17 out back.

Right after this pic I started bagging it, then some lady decided I didn't need to finish the truck and TOTALED it out for me.

Cool WHEELS

This is a 2" in front and 3" in back. I have 17" stealth wheels with P255-60R-17 all the way around.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

pat- I used 3" drop spindles/ cut coils in front, 5" drop springs and 3/4" homemade blocks in rear. As for how much it's lowered, I think the front is lower than my signature says, because I've tinkered with it so much, I've lost track.
