camero tach?
Hey guys, I know I saw a post awhile back on how to put a 70's tach in the chevy truck dash cluster and was wondering if anyone is doing this mod. Thanks Rick

im attempting this! i have my stock cluster out of my 72 camaro. just one question. on the truck cluster, in the tach hole. there is the paint on the plastic? how do yo go about removing this??? im doing this mod right now, so input would great thanks!!!!

Plastic polishing compound, a Dremel and a felt tip works wonders.

i did this to my 69 k20 i used to have... it was kind of difficult to wire it up becasue the tach is deeper than the rest of the gauge cluster, and the printed circuit is to tight for the tach to fit. if i did it over again i'd get a new printed circuit, and paint the face of the tach and then get a new tach lens.
