Fuel gauge reading with key off?
As most of you know I am still trying to hunt down what is bleeding my battery. I noticed that my fuel gauge is reading like 1/4 of a tank but the key isnt on? I couldnt remember if the gauge should be registering with the key in the off position? There is an orange, liight brown and white wire running to the fuel tank. All 3 light up when I stabbed them with a light probe.
Any ideas? |

The lt brown wire is the fuel sender. Thr orange and white wires are your dome lamp. The dome lamp operates off the light switch by rotating the dimmer all the way up...or if you have door jamb coutesy lights, when your door is open. The fuel sender should only have juice when the ignition is on IIRC
