Bed Wood Dimensions
Has anybody used the dimensions for cutting your own bed wood that are on the web, I believe from GMC pauls. If so are they accurate, or does anybody know of the exact dimensions for a short box. Its the width that im concerned about..Thanks

Re: Bed Wood Dimensions
I used GMC Paul's dimensions word-for-word. I put mine in a short box stepside. And it fit like a glove.
Here's the pix....

Re: Bed Wood Dimensions
I used them to make my wood (teak) from scratch. No problems and bed looks great!!!!
First picture, raw wood Second picture, sides have been cut (grooves) and several coats of varnish. Last shot, wood all done and in place!! Last edited by John Fabris; 03-23-2006 at 12:49 PM. |

Whatever dimensions you use, be sure to test fit before finishing. The last thing you want is for the finished wood to need slight trimming to fit right. Mar-Ktech
