Hoses
I am looking to start replacing the old dried out hoses on my 65 and wanted to know where/who makes durable good looking hoses. I'm looking to replace all of them to include the vaccum, fuel, radiator and etc.

Re: Hoses
It all depends on the look you are going for if you want those steel flex hoses then I could not help you but as far as I know you just buy new rubber hoses at the parts store and if you like go in the ricer section and get those slip on covers that you can put over them that make them look like a fake metal braided line.

Re: Hoses
Alot of people that I have worked with in the past and in the commercial business swear by Gates. Course they are just black rubber. But I have seen them contorted into odd shapes and still going 100,000+ miles. Heck I have 260,000 miles on the Gates hoses in my Powerstroke and they do not appear dry rotted or anything... If that doesn't look good enough for you, you could always put those covers on them like krazy texan wrote

Re: Hoses
You might try finding a corvette parts outlet and order the replacements that are printed with GM logo. They look great, function as original, and are relatively inexpensive. Corvette Central has a good catalog for free with lots of pictures......................just my 2 cents
