Look what the postman brought me today...

Well today the first parts I need for the Rear Disc Brakes conversion came with the post.
Now all I need are the brackets and e-brake stuff and I can begin.
It feels like Christmas came very early this year!

Cya,
Edmond

Yes I'm very happy with the parts. Came quickly too I might add.
I have ordered the brackets from Blackbirds Custom Trucks so I hope they won't take to long to arrive.
I want to start this job as soon as possible

I'll keep you updated, and I will make as many pictures as I can during the swap.

Cya,
Edmond

I had no idea you could convert the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks to discs. That is too cool!

Could you please provide some details on the kit/parts. Application, source etc etc. I haven't ever come across an 8 lug conversion. I am very interested. Could you document the swap for us?
Thanks,
Tim

The kit is from Blackbird Custom Trucks. Take a look here:GM Rear Disc Brakes
I will make as many pictures as possible and post them when I'm finished.

Edmond
