Steering column help

I know the 67-68 auto column had the long shaft, different shift lever and different indicator then the other years. So I am trying to make 1 good column out of 2. I have a 72 column but don't have the lower shaft and I have a 67-68 complete power glide column.

So I am debating on what to do. I will be running an overdrive trans. I really like the look of the the 68 shift indicator and the shorter shift lever.

1 does any body make an overdrive indicator and pointers for the 67-68? I have never seen them.

2 My 2nd option is to put the 67-68 shaft into the the 72 housing. Is their any other problems I wound encounter for compatibility issues?

3 or should I just find a lower shaft for the 72 and just go with that?
