Tail light socket?

Well, dads burb has the aftermarket chrome tail lights. The left blinker/brake light doesnt work until you physically tap the housing. Im thinking its the socket. But also, it doesnt screw all the way into the housing like the others do. Should I just go for the gold and buy a new rear wiring harness? Or what?

Re: Tail light socket?

Check/clean the bulb and socket, That may be all that's needed. If still no go just splice in a new socket, Wire seldom goes bad....

Re: Tail light socket?

The thing is, there is no corrosion. And its a new bulb, and its all perfectly clean. Where is the ground for it? Im not good with electrical stuff yet.
