Re: muncie 4 speed swap

When I ran a Muncie in my 64, I found a driveshaft out of an S-10 that was perfect length for about $20. All I had to do was change the rear u-joint to match up to the 12 bolt rear. In fact, I believe the same driveshaft is still in there behind the automatic now. I think the slip yolk was the same fit between the Muncie and turbo 350.

I also used a S10 shaft for a sag 4 sp.

I found a reg cab short box s10 manual trans and drive shaft is 53" My drive shaft is 61" three speed is 16&1/2" Muncie m20 is 21&1/2" so I need a 56" drive shaft with 27 splines by my calculations . Is that what a s10 blazer has ? Any body know?
