hood interchange

Is the '67 hood any different from the 68'-72' hoods. I thought they were all the same but this guy said he couldn't use mine because it was too boxy on the end and his sloped down. I can't figure out what he is talking about.

No i'm not selling anything here.
67-68 both slope down instead of the boxy look of the 69-72. If you have a 69-72 and he has a 67-68 he can't use it without changing out a lot more stuff (fenders, hood latch, grill, etc.)

67-68 are the same

69-72 are the same really except 69/70 have the bowtie on the hood and 71-72 don't

I believe GMC's match up the same way, but their big difference is the upper grill/trim piece to fill in the gap with the grill.
