Jw Speaker headlights on 69?

Ive seen a few trucks with these LED Jw speaker headlights on them and was wondering if anyone here was running them. Id also like to know what conversions need to be made to run these. I currently have stock headlights on my ls swapped shortbox. Any info or reviews would ne greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Awesome! They look great. What else does a 67-72 need to get these lights to run properly?

I have them on my jeep - they are great. The original lights on my jeep (2012) were horrible no better than the original style headlights on my 69 chevelle. The jw lights will be a huge upgrade & worth the money.

Shop around on eBay - you can find better prices.

I’ve heard that too. If you look online there are tips on how to spot a fake. Also I typically try to only deal with people that have good approval ratings & accept returns.

Re: Jw Speaker headlights on 69?

This is as far as I got with mine. Its for a 67 so I don't know if this will help any. I had to trim the bucket for it to sit in there. I haven't put them up to the core yet so I don't know if I have to trim that too. As far as the wiring goes I don't recall if I had any sort of resistor or anything inline. I'll check tomorrow or Sunday and let you know what I find.

Re: Jw Speaker headlights on 69?

Got them mocked up. I don't have any bezels and some of my hardware is missing/broken so I'm not sure about the core but pretty sure I don't have to cut it up. As far as the wiring, just wire them right up. Below is a pic of which wires go where. The lights I have are the 8700 Evo II without daytime running lights.

I'm really thinking I want these, but I'm trying to justify the $500.00 price tag for headlights with plastic lenses

As a less expensive alternative, I put these in my truck and love them. Pretty sure they're Truck-Lite 27270C but in any case they are very well made and 100% plug and play with no need for adapter wires or bezels.
