Don't you mean 245/35 in front? A 40 would be way taller than the rear. That is the exact same combo I am running, Eagle 221's and all. What brand tires are you running? Hankook?

A 40 series wouldn't be taller than the rear because the rear tires are wider so a 35 series would make up the difference, correct?

Those two sizes are nearly identical in height. It just allows for a wider tire on the rear. That is why so many people run that size.

I am running a 245/35 in the front which is 26.8" tall. The 275/30's in the rear are 26.5" tall. 245/40's are around 27.5" tall. So there would be a difference. I have never noticed a 275/35 either, but could be wrong. Thought he had 30's on the rear. Hmmmmm.

a 245/40 and a 275/35 are the same total height. are you sure you have a 275/30? seems kinda short for a fullsize truck.
