Toroflow Diesel Engine and Trans
Everything is now in South Dakota.
I'm now prepping my 68 K20 for the Cummins swap, so the old motor has to go. It is a 73 GMC 478DH Toro Flow diesel V6, pretty rare motor. I also put on a gear reduction starter that was machined to fit the block with a custom adapter (spent $500) and it cranks over like clock work. This engine came out of a 73 2.5 Ton dump truck and placed in my 68 back in the late 70s. It runs great and you can hear it run, as it is still complete in the 'burb. Included is the transmission which is a 5 speed non synchro truck transmission. It uses a hydraulic master and slave, which I will include and hook up to a stock clutch pedal. Also included are all mounts from the engine to the frame and accessories on the engine. The AC compressor is removed, but the power steering pump and alternator are both in their brackets and are included. A mechanical drive diesel tach will complete the package. This truck is set to go back to South Dakota from San Diego on the 18th, so if you're west coast I need to know before then so I can remove the pairing. If you're in the Midwest and willing to drive to Sioux Falls, SD it will be after thanksgiving when the motor/trans is pulled. Engine and trans has been taken out of the truck and is stored in South Dakota.

Still for sale. Motor is taking up space in the parent's garage. I have to move it in May to my new house. I can throw in some other 67-72 parts if you get it before then.
