Tank conversion

Anyone convert to a 3rd get tank system if so how bad is the different between the frames and was it hard to do the conversion

Are you talking about a square body tank or do you mean 3rd generation? A little more clarification would be good.....

3rd gen style tank sorry didn't realize the typo i have mine behind the seat and I'm thinking of doing the conversion to the 3rd gen bolted to the outside of the frame under the bed

73 87 cab floor is raised to enable saddle tank to mount under cab
67 72 cab floors are more flat
You could use a burbon tank at the back of the truck

Just bought the tank today then realized my can mounts are completely destroyed so I'm going to have to fix those first but I think it will go pretty easy after that
