Any updates on pressure washer sand blasting?
Don't know if I missed the posts, but was wondering if there are any updates.
I need to do some sand blasting but don't have an air compressor that will handle the job. I am thinking of buying a pressure washer, though. Any pics, pros and cons would be great. Thanks. |

Re: Any updates on pressure washer sand blasting?
I have the kit - it is just too cold to do it right now -
I got all the parts to use it - and then the frost/snow/rain hit so I haven't been able to use it... Anybody else? |

Re: Any updates on pressure washer sand blasting?
My 26 gallon Husky does just fine blasting and they are $289 at HD's. Most pressure washers are more than that.
I've never heard of a conversion kit, but it seems like a lot more trouble than buying a compressor.

Re: Any updates on pressure washer sand blasting?
Here's one thread on it. There's more if you search on "pressure washer".
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ressure+washer Basically, the reason I'm thinking of pressure washer blasting is that I'm going to buy a pressure washer (gas engine) anyway. I live in the city right now and have out of town property where I can use it. My problem is this. I don't have the ability to sandblast here in town and don't have a place to put a compressor in the out of town property... So the pressure washer blasting is an alternative. |
