Parts price guideline????
I am new to owning a blazer so be patient with me.
I have owned my 71 C10 on and off for about 20 years and have never had any trouble with finding parts or estimating used prices. The blazer is a different story. I am finding out some items are rare. I was reading Krue's thread on the cheap Trazer and Bouncy truck made a good comment on carpet stripes and rear side panel brackets. I have both of those that I am pretty sure I am not going to use but have no idea what they are worth. How about side panels? I know a guy that has a nice set of side panels sitting in his garage that he will never use but he does not want to get rid of them. Maybe, if I could tell him what they are worth he might be interested in selling them. Someone who wants original and is reading this could benefit. Has any of the experienced blazer owners put some kind of suggested price list together and posted it to FAQ for these hard to find parts in driver shape?? Catalogs don't help. Yes, different parts are worth different amounts to different people but a rough guideline might help us inexperienced guys and save time. Pricing questions on consoles, tow hooks and seat brackets seem to repeat themselves again and again. Maybe this would be a good article for the forum ...and.... maybe I should go back to work. Just an idea.

Re: Parts price guideline????
I think it would be a good idea. And then post it in the FAQ section maybe.
I know I've seen side panels go for anywhere from $100 to $500 depending on condition and whether they were NOS or not. As far as panel mounts, I haven't seen any of them sold to say one way or another. Anyone else got something they would like to see on the list? Jeff.

Re: Parts price guideline????
Reproduction interior panels are big $. If you have a set of quality OEM panels, $100 min. Like Jeff said, they could be worth a lot more. The carpet strips I'd expect about $25 each. No clue on the side panel brackets, but I'm sure you'll find members willing to take them off your hands.

Re: Parts price guideline????
Here's a few things I could find pics of to start:
73 and up console...$25-$100. Note the cupholders vice seatbelt holders. If it was 72 and lower starting price would be around $75 up to about $200.

Re: Parts price guideline????
Sport bucket seats: start out around $200 and work up to around $500 depending on condition again. Bouncy, or anyone else who thinks these prices are jacked, let us know.

Re: Parts price guideline????
The pic of the seat belts shows a part which is truck seat belts not Blazer or Jimmy front seat belts..wrong passenger lower seat belt boot shown in pic. Otherwise the same as a truck except for the boot on the rear mounts..and the angle of the brackets are different than truck.

Re: Parts price guideline????
Yup, I would say the upper and lower limits you guys have given is pretty accurate from what I've seen, and in some cases paid. I would say though that for a real set of BLAZER belts, all five pairs, in really excellent condition they could go for upwards of $150.

Re: Parts price guideline????
Another one, tilt column for floor shift: I am going to say this will run around $125 up to about $400 if its a van tilt thats been converted. If its an actual 67-72 tilt, the starting price will be higher, but end about the same.

Re: Parts price guideline????
jakeslim, the 1/2 top for $150.00 was a GREAT deal, but you won't find them at that price very often. I paid $400.00 for mine with the metal divider.
