Advice for Pitted Head Light Bezels and Grille... Sand?
im looking to paint my grille and head light bezels. For the grille, I'm sanding with 600 grit, will put adhesion promoter on, and paint with wheel paint. I think this is a plan.
Onto the headlight bezel... these bastards are pitted. Any advice for getting rid of the pitting? I assume I should sand, prime, and paint with rally wheel paint. Any advice on how to handle the pitting would be appreciated. Thanks. |

I'd hit the pitted areas up with a roloc disc and try a sandable metal epoxy or filler. If you're going to paint that area that should be enough as long as you clean and prep as directed.

If you are going to paint, then using some body filler would not be out of the question.

Thanks... Am going to see what sanding will do then go from there. Maybe break out the Dremel tool. Will report back. Just curious if others had tips.
