Right now I am looking at buying a stepper. I'm a little apprehensive cuz I'm really a fleetside guy, but I could change with some coaxing(and then I'd have both). I know theres a bunch out there that are very well done, and I've seen a few. Show me what I'm missin out on.

None of these are mine, but ones that others have posted. They are what inspired me to go with a short stepper.

There is a thread on here somewhere that shows short steppers, but I don't have it at the moment.

I think I might be building 454Stepside's little brother .. (in my build thread below)

I know a lot more people build the fleetsides but just something about a stepper with the tailgate chains, wood bed, etc. just feels more like a vintage truck to me. Just my personal opinion. I'm about 65/35 % stepside guy. I like them all really. Nothing wrong with a fleetside, I just love the steppers.

heres my 72 GMC Its going under the knife this winter to return it to more a lifted classic look, stock bumpers , down to 37s, bench seat instead of the cadillac seats, and then a new paint job.... dont know what color yet

69 C10 short step; 454/TH350/3.73

Custom treatments; Cadillac tilt/tele, 69 Chevelle SS hood scoops & side marker lights, custom bowtie tail lights frenched into the rear fenders, etc...

Old school styling, no billet anything.

Unfortunately it's getting interior at the moment but I think I have a couple more...and Thx..there are some mighty tight Steps showing up. Always been partial to the step
