There is a little square notch, about 1/4", on the top of each housing. The lense has the same notch that fits into the housing notch. One housing has the notch further to the left, and the other housing has the notch further to the right

BTW, they are not C10 housings, but they can be made to work

Yep, thats what i thought. I just scribed a hole on the bottom of the housing using the grille hole as a guide, drilled, and used a button head bolt to mount them up as a true C10 would be....still nice to have NOS electrical stuff, even if its for a C30,40,50

How much did you pay, if i might ask...

The other thing that you have to look at, is the electrical plug. C tens had a 'T' shape connector, and yours may have a 'V' shape, IIRC

Its fixable with weatherpac connectors, if youre not a purist

Re: 68 park light question

I have found that the '68 connectors were different from the '67 connectors on the Parking Light Assemblies. The '68 connector [thru the radiator wall] has one contact perpendicular to the other, making a "T" . The '67 has one contact on an angle, making a "V".
Otherwise they are the same.
In the Headlight Switch, the '67s are configured so the Parking Lights go out when the Headlamps are energized. On '68s, the Parking Lights stay on with the Headlamps.

I found this out when I had a '67 Suburban. I hit a deer and my grille was trashed. I found a replacement grille on a junkyard '68 Suburban [there's no difference between C/K 10-20 models, I just lucked out]. It dropped in fine mechanically, but I had to splice in compatible connectors to make the electrical connections work.

Re: 68 park light question

Those people on Ebay have been informed of what their selling. They know it. Their just trying to find more people that don't know to buy them. I've seen them a lot on there and they still are saying that there for 67-68 c10's. They could be easily modified to work but I know thats not what you thought you were buying.

But all I'm saying is they know...

Re: 68 park light question

Yep I just got mine today for a 68 and yes the housing is for c30 and up, although the plug is right and will connect up...left and right side...just have to drill the holes in the housing and add bolts I guess....
