Question about factory turn signals on my 69

So I just noticed something the other day after owning my truck for nearly a year.

I don't have working front side turn signals?

The lens and bezel is there but there is no wire going to them? My truck is quite original and I can't see anything that shows the factory wired were hacked or removed? Where would the wires be for the front signals?

69 was optional for those to have lights yet.

Re: Question about factory turn signals on my 69

So what your telling me is I don't have factory numbers matching front fenders...lol

Pretty sure the wiring harness is stock so I would wager it got new fenders/lights when they did the crappy paint job

Re: Question about factory turn signals on my 69

If your truck is a 69, it would have lights, or reflectors. Looks the same from the outside.

I would say you dont have aftermarket fenders, my 69 has the same sidemarker lights with no wiring in them what so ever. Just a reflector.
But I did see a mod where a member used 68 or 69 firebird side marker lights that fit perfect in the fender.

Re: Question about factory turn signals on my 69

Optional on all 68 & 69 trucks, Except cab/chassis with DRW, then the markers were required per DOT regs.
In 70 they were standard equipment across the board on all sizes and models.
