Lowered this weekend *pics*
Got a screamin' deal on the spindles and springs (traded for stock stuff) and got a flip kit for $30 shipped. The flip kit was much lower than I anticipated, so I had to put the helper springs back in and cut a half coil up front to even it out. Alignment tech had a blast with this one...
Since the first pics I have also flipped the white letters inside, poly Blazer tank to get the tank out of the bed, and shimmed the bed to line up better. I think the bed looks better lowered but I'm still not sold on it. Before: After:

Re: Lowered this weekend *pics*
I like it! I do think the back could come up maybe another inch to even the gap between the top of the tire and the wheel well if you don't like it that low, but definately nothing wrong with it as is. Nice truck!!!

Re: Lowered this weekend *pics*
Yeah, it's a totally different animal now. Strangely enough, it rides and drives better than before. Probably due mostly to having good shocks on it.
I think I have a line on a place to get a short fleet bed, and have all the components to do a coil conversion. Thinkin' bout baggin the rear so I can have some adjustability. Thanks for all the positive comments. -Chris
