Auxiliary Fuel Tank info request
Looking for info and pics regarding auxiliary fuel tanks on 72 Chevy 3/4 ton trucks. My bed has a hole in the side(at the same level as the in-cab tank) for one of these tanks, and I have seen a couple of trucks w/ this option on E-bay.
Next question is whether they are available anywhere and if not, who makes a filler piece(eliminate the hole)? I remember seeing one for the eliminating the hole on the cab, but have not located it again yet.

Have not saw the saddle tanks available new. They pop up occasionally on the parts board. Sending unit for them is no longer available. I used an aftermarket universal gm sending unit to get around that. Had to install a fuel pick-up though cause the universal sender does not include a pick-up. No info on the patch other than ebfabman does the cab tank hole patches.
