Re: Say it ain't so!
That's not quiet what we hand in mind when we were discussing turning longbeds in to shortbed trucks.
No doubt someone will come along and thing that is the greatest truck of all time though. |

Re: Say it ain't so!
Could've been a lot worse. While I will agree that chrysler's "cab forward" idea of pushing the wheel to the extreme corners of a vehicle may not have been the best choice for this truck the exectution seems to be well done.
With proper suspension tuning it could be a great handler even if the looks take some getting used to. Josh

Re: Say it ain't so!
I really can't understand how someone can take one of the best looking trucks GM ever built and do that. The workmanship does look good, but the finished product, leaves alot to be desired!

Re: Say it ain't so!
I saw this same truck at Wal-Mart awhile back. It was hanging between the Old #5 Fire Engine and the 4X4 Van, one aisle over from the bicycles.

Re: Say it ain't so!
It was built for a customer by house of hotrods in Mansfield, TX. I am guessing the customer no longer likes it........ House of Hotrods turn out some nice vehicles.....
It's not my cup of Tea either.....

Re: Say it ain't so!
I agree with y'all, it's not what I would want, but come on... After all the GOOFY A** stuff people do to their trucks and/or the PIECES OF JUNK that people decide are worthy of even a car wash, you decide to rip on this one?? I've seen worse for more money...

Re: Say it ain't so!
That is exactly what I was thinking RunninLo. It looks like a Chrys!3r Engineer got a hold of it with the low cab and wheels pushed to the corners. It looks like a well built truck, but as has been said multiple times, not my cup of tea.
