Happy Independence Day!

No offense to any Brits, but I don't want to hear a single snooty British accent all day long, ya hear? No, not all Brits are like that, but those aren't the ones that held lord over us either.

Your part of the country is steeped in history in regards to the founding of our country.

I can’t remember ever hearing a British accent in Kansas.
Happy Independence Day everyone!

An ancestor of mine enlisted in the Continental Army on July 16, 1776 in CT placing everything he possessed at risk including his life. Thank you Elisha.

Re: Happy Independence Day!

I didn't have any ancestors in the Continental Army, but I served in the US Army for 25 years. I love this nation. I've traveled the world, and there's nothing like it anywhere else. I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the men who were willing to risk everything for liberty.

This morning I put up the flag at our church as the first rays of the sun broke over the mountains. It sure does look pretty up there on its perch.

Looney Thanks, I provided an updated link. The earlier link was the only full length version on YT and the screen is slightly cropped on the new one. I’ve got this on a Looney Tunes DVD set but should have screened the original link.
