San Diego members @ Big 3 Auto Parts Swapmeet - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

The yearly Big 3 Auto Parts Swap is coming up on Feb.23,24 & 25. This is billed as the biggest auto enthusiest swapmeet west of the Rockies. How many members of this forum would like to get together at a specified time at the swapmeet?? Say noon Saturday the 24th... It would be cool to be able to put names and faces together. If anyone is interested, post it here and lets see what kind of interest is generated. FYI: admission to the swapmeet is free, but they will ding you $10-12.00 to park. No skateboards, bicycles, scooters etc. allowed, meaning bring comfortable walking shoes... Location is Qualcom Stadium in Mission Valley.

I'll go this year if I don't have to service some pesky customer trying to give me more money on Saturday. Otherwise I'll try to make it Sunday,the Day of Restoration.

Plans are set to be there for SAT. Friday Travel, Saturday hang out at show and return Sunday. I will print out are thread so I know where everyone is. I will be in my 67-72 truck shirt and Blue jeans. I will were my Red eagle/American Flag Ball Cap. I might try to find a Identifyer for my shirt like my Board name on a sticky or something.

OK group, here's the scoop: 68SHORTBOX,(Kirk) has been kind enough to let us meet at his selling stall. Let's meet up at high noon Saturday 2/24 at stall E-31. This is on the west side of the swapmeet, 3 or 4 rows from the seller's entrance road and north of the trolley tracks. Look for a '68 Chevy stakebed, maroon and silver in color. Hope to see you all there.

"Smitty" are you sellin any truck stuff that I shouldn't be without?

I am having problems in my college Algebra class. I called it off last night so I can hunt for a Tutor. I am going crazy now because I really love going to this event. I miss it. We don't have anything like that out here in Desert Ville. Enjoy yourselves.

I was too lazy to do anything this year (cleaning) so I'm just going to park in the stall and roam around. Haven't done that in years. I'm under a lot of pressure around here to do some (cleaning) and God forbid tossing so should have stuff next year! Hope to see you there!

walked around the whole lot no e 31 . went to e3 and e1 but i couldnt find anybody, so i found a friend at the end under the bridge closer to the stadium, sat there with him and drank a few.
ill probabaly be back tommorrow with a cooler and a wagon for the kids and whatever i buy.
