are rack & pinions worth the $?
been thinking about going this route for a while and i realize the benifits from the upgrade. just looking for opinions from the guys who have had this kit for a while. We all know there is always upgrades we can do on our trucks. i just want to know if this is a no brainer or if the kit isn't worth the cash as my pockets are closer to my hips than my knees. If what i've read is correct, the R&P out of 79'-93' mustang is the one being used. does anyone sell just the mounting hardware for our trucks if i were to find a used R&P?

Check with No Limit in San Bernardino, Ca. They have the mounting kit.

Re: are rack & pinions worth the $?
I find these trucks left alone drive just fine,it costs nothing to leave them alone, and when you do need a part you can get it anywhere. The only way a rack & pinion would be worthwhile is on a slalom truck...and I can think of hundreds of vehicles better suited for that. I guess it's fun to challenge the laws of physics, though.
