What's your favorite modification on your truck?
I am just curious to see what everyone's favorite modification they did, or had done, to their truck. It can be as small as that finicky misfire you had the hardest time solving, or as big as a body drop, just so you can see your Pride and Joy lay in the weeds.
Hoping this can grow to show others talents and ideas. I will go ahead and start this off: My favorite modification as of today would have to be painting my truck to get it all one color. Prior to the shiny red you see now, it was a faded red, with body work shown Once I got it painted, it changed the whole aurora when I would drive around. But once again, as we are never done, I am in the process of redoing everything and having the body work and paint professionally done.

Very nice truck! Love the stance.
I'll contribute - so far, and there have been many, my favorite mod/fix is getting the fuel gauge working properly. Now I don't have to do math in my head anymore - Ha!

Re: What's your favorite modification on your truck?
I appreciate it. Haha funny thing is, my first drive in the truck was without a working gas gauge. Needless to say, I ran out of gas, my friend and I pushed it to the nearest gas station and then continued on.

Funny, it made my laugh a little with memories. back Years ago (20) I carried a dip-stick around in my 69 for a long time before I fixed the gas gauge.

Re: What's your favorite modification on your truck?
In my '63 I'd say that gearing/overdrive transmission are my favorite change for much better driveability. In my '68 which I haven't driven yet, I feel certain it will be the 427bb that I'm running (instead of a mild 350) for the monster torque!

Re: What's your favorite modification on your truck?
I like the look of your truck
my favorite modification would have to be putting in a 60/40 bench seat out of a 92 chevy and adding a tremec 5 speed, makes it ride so much on the high way |

Re: What's your favorite modification on your truck?
De chroming the body was the best mod so far. I think it looks a lot cleaner with out it.
The 305 HO TPI and 700-R4 are the best go mods.

Re: What's your favorite modification on your truck?
My truck is nothing but modifications since it is made up of at least 7 different trucks. If I had to chose one of the modifications I would have to say the mini-high torque starter.

I've done others buut the disc are a great upgrade and the HEI is also but really budget friendly. To the tune of under $50 with new wires.
