As far as I know a pump is a pump. Does it fit?

The pump may bolt up to the frame but check the hose fittings=--they changed some time in the late 70's--early 80's

You can use a newer pump....on the original brackets or the newer brakets depending on what setup you have. At some point they changed to o-ring fittings but that is no big deal...the part that is different screws into the back of the pump so you can change it out with the older flare fitting style.
