2.5 drop spindels and 2 drop coils 275/60/15 tires?

I am instaling in the next 2-3 weeks a 2.5 inch drop spindels on my 68 gmc. I already have 2 inch drop front springs. Total drop in front will be 4.5 inch drop. I am running 275/60/15 tires on 8" rims. Will I have any rubbing problems, if yes what the best solution?

Depends on your backspacing, but probably no problems. I have some Weld Rodlite wheels with 3 1/2" backspacing I think, and only rub and speed bumps and the like.

Yes I think you may. I have only the 2 1/2 drop spindels with 275 60 R15 tires and they on a bump would rub. Recently as I have taken the truck apart I didnt have any rubber core support bushings they were gone. this should raise the front sheet metal some CORRECT??? Mine would rub on one of the inner fender bolts on a dip/bump at highway speeds. I dont have it back together yet to see if my height is corrected.
Good luck

Here is my 71 GMC with 275/60's all the way around. They are mounted on 15x10 street stars, aboslutely no problem with clearances.

I finally got mine out of the garage today im hoping to drive it tomorrow I just need to blead the brakes onfe more time. The major setback was on saturday when I couldent get the truck to move I thought the brakes were locked up but realized that the wheels were smashed aginst the calipers (remember this and tell a friend 6-lug drum brake wheels wont fit over disc brakes!!!) sunday i found 5 rally wheels with GMC center caps for $200.00 they look great ill try to post pics.
