Cam ?
I'm rebuilding my 402BB and I'm using standard size rings and bearings and going with the edelbrock 1411 750cfm and intake manifold. What is the origional size cam that came with my engine(duration and lift, etc?) and I want to use an edelbrock RV type cam and want more power, but don't want to go too big and don't want to have problems with idling and over heating and don't want to have to use a stall converter. What size edelbrock cam do I use? Thank you. Dave

Dave, you should be fine with a mild RV grind, i wouldn't worry about these causing any over heating, after all they are designed for high constant load applications. if you want to go with edelbrock, go with thier performer cam. with that being said you might want to look into what comp cams or another cam manufacturer has to offer, they usually have a few different selections, and can help you get narrowed down to the perfect cam. good luck
