Digital Gauge Setup on Ebay - Cheap

I've heard some people talk about digital gauge setups for our trucks. Here's one on ebay (not mine). Not my type of thing, but it seems like a pretty good deal.

Item number: 4510234269

Sorry, can't seem to copy it as a link.

That would be a very good price. Has one bid with 5 days to go.

Thanks sswj. I think the way he worded his title might keep it from coming up in some searches.

Hey! ya'll quit biddin on that dash it's mine I tell you! I'm a techie geek at heart, the idea of digital dash + non digital (aka no "oxygen sensors" motor) is my idea of heaven on earth as far as motorcars go

The first bidder should have used the buy it now button because im sure they wont be able to get it for that price 4 days from now. This thing might look like a good deal now but judging on how fast its moving and knowing how ebay biding works .... i wouldnt be suprised if the winning bidder didnt end up paying almost retail when its all said and done.

True but even though it's "new never used" who's to say it wasn't attempted to be installed and got zapped, I'll risk 300 or so on it but once it hits about $450 I'm gonna be more likely to say screw it and order it new and THEN if I have any problems I'll be on the phone to the retailer "hey! something is up, help me help me!"

And yes I often see things sell on ebay for MORE than I can buy the EXACT same item at Wally World or Sams or Costco (etc etc) for!

Cool

Wow what a deal. My future son in law wants one for his 67. We just priced one last week. Delivered in Canada $800.00 cdn funds.
Wish I had seen it sooner. It would have been about $500 landed.
But might have had Dixie mad at me!!
If you guys see another one, I would appreciate a tip or a PM.

Doug

I will probably selling mine after the first of the year. I think I want to shave the dash and use a Dakota street rod dash. It's complete and never been installed. I also have the box that is used for automatic tranny's that tell the dash which gear your in and the external dimmer. Both are not included with the kit and are Dakota Digital items. I also got the aluminum face plate for the instruement panel and glove box. It is not metric (reading), I think you have to order that option straight from Dakota. See the instruement panel here. The dimming unit is here, but keep in mind the dash has a auto dim feature. This just gives you manual control. The tranny box is here. It allows the dash to display what gear your in and has a built in neutral safety and back up light circuit. It works with 350/400/700R4 tranny's. The dash plate is here and the glove box cover is here.

Will do. As soon as the holidays are over I'll dig out my receipts and take some pictures and get it listed. I'll list it here on the board first and if no takers I'll go to Ebay. Things are just to hectic right now. I need to find out what color the digital readouts are as I don't remember.
