Score!

Went yesterday and picked up a used windshield at the salvage for 17.99!

Mine had about a foot long crack in it.

also got some interior trim panels. Got the A and B pillar panels, also picked up power locks

all for under $40!

Not bad if I might say

Re: Score!

Pryor Huh? Why can't I find deals like that!

This weekend I'm going to pick up a quad lamp grill from a suburban, driver side fender, inner fender, and power windows... for a really good deal!

Re: Score!

Yesterday I scored an auto tilting column for $5. The column had the wiring still plugged in and the spring in the column still tight. Also scored a 73 grill with the 454 badge in the corner. Way stoked. Just gonna put a light coat of satin black and throw her in.

Yup Pryor, Where you located? The free truck came out of Tulsa it has a few small rust spots on it typical places nothing to major, The Cab is perfect, My pops is going to put it on his 85. I am using he doors and the right front fender and maybe the bed. He is using the frame as well. We also scored a 75 chevy amblulance that was converted into an RV for $600 with the medium duty GM Crate motor with less than 3000 mi on it. Steel crank, Eldebrock RPM manifold, and a new Quad-ra-junk. Its a rust bucket that had an electrical fire but we hot wired it and and drove it home. It ran real strong with all its weight it still pulled on his '93 extended cab. Its got the one-ton rear axle that was put in new in '99.

Yeah, thats was a painful lesson I learned too.
My "rust free" '82 came from Tulsa and I was told not a spec of rust on it. Imagine my surprise when it showed up here with holes in the rockers and I could clearly see rust holes in the rear floor through the back window; "I have been selling cars for 25 years and I didn't see a spec of rust on that car". He never responded when I sent him pictures of the holes in the rockers...

Re: Score!

Yeah right.... You'd be surprised... Seems that most of the trucks and burbans around here were used for farm or offroaders and they didn't care what happened. Hard to find straight steel
