price this truck 64 fleet big window
custom cab,350 ,700r4,87 front cross member,power disc front brakes,12 bolt rear axle('72), no trim but has mounting holes, 97 chevy bench seat, and wood bed intact "good shape not show quality" it has fiberglassed the driver kick panel where some rust was and some in the bottom front right fender. Have a chance to buy this truck what do I need to offer??

You don't want to lowball the seller and lose the chance of buying this truck.Ask him what would He would expect to get for it and neg from there. I would say no more than 3500 for it but thats from me not seeing the truck.If you had pictures,that would help determine the price alot

Try to work him down but do not hurt his ego in doin so.I think you will be able to get at least 1 grand knocked off of that price if you bullchit with him for a bit

but do you think 4995 is high? I mainly been doing 67-72 own a 72 gmc serria grande 402 bb fleetside BUT have always looked for one of these. grandfather thing

Im not sure to tell you the truth.I bought mine for 2500 bucks and the wood floor has been covered with a piece of steel,no tailgate and still all drums.Some would say I overpaid on mine but I wanted it and was determined to get it.

I offered 4000 he said he would never take that told him I would call back after CHRISTmas to see if hes sold it and might could scrounge up some more $$

my 65 cost 850 with a 400 small block 350 trubo tranny, and intact bed not pretty but not rotted, and the body has some minor rust and lots of spot painting, front disc brakes and 12 bolt rear end, thats a good idea to wait after christmas though, 4000 sounds reasonable considered the body is in the shape he says
