Exclamation 3/6 drop yes or no

on a 69 half ton long bed
should i go with that considering it would be cheaper to do that
compared to prices here at the local shops??? and if i was to go with the 3 6 how do you think it will look and who else would have possibly seen it or have it aswell and if so does the frame have to be notch because i hear people talkin about anything over 6 it does and ive also heard anything more than 5 please help...

Re: 3/6 drop yes or no

3.5/5 is about as level as you can get.

Re: 3/6 drop yes or no

You could always go with the 5 drop and then block the rest to what you want...a one inch block to make it 6, two inch for 7???

I ordered a 3/5 and that is what I am going to do if I think its too raked as I like it more level front to back...just a very slight rake.

so say i slap the 3 5 n and i want it lower in the back if i put a 1 to 2 in block drop would i have to c notch it???

still stumpt on when you have to notch the rear...

thanks a million

Not sure on the c-notch. I am not going to do mine with a 3/5 for now. I am just going to drive it and see. If it hits the bump stops a lot, I will probably do it. A guy could fab up a c-notch for pretty cheap too if you have a welder. Member see ten used a 4x4 piece of metal...

home made c-notch

Looks like it turned out pretty good...and you could probably get that metal at a machine shop for free from their scrap pile. Could probably do it with a big piece of pipe too. Just a thought.
