Dana 60 Brake Shoes???
I have a 70 C20 Chevy with a Dana 60 rear and I was wondering what size brake shoes I need. I got some from LMC part #34-3522 and I think they wont work for a Dana 60. I called LMC but they had no clue as to weather they would fit or not. So I need some help for you guys. Please let me know. Thanks

Ive got the Dana 60 in my truck and I purchased the brake shoes from the local Checkers store. Any parts house should stock and should know the difference between the dana shoes and the corporate rear end shoes.

I have had this problem many times with the "look it up in the computer" parts suppliers. Apparantly the "computer" only lists the Eaton rearend brakes. They then proceed to tell me that the rearend in my truck (Dana 60) must not be stock and become offended when I question there knowledge and understanding. Make the girl (apologies to you girls who really know what you are talking about!) or pimplied faced kid go find the old guy who still knows how to use the "book" and have him look it up. If memory serves me correct, the two possibilities are 2" and 2 1/2". I think that the Dana is the 2".

Thanks. Is that the measurement of the pad surface? The ones sitting in my room are 12" x 2.75". Would these work? Thanks

Advanced Auto. I had checked with Autozone but they told me they could not get the fronts so I didn't even ask about the rears.
