1994 Grille Shell on 1990 GMC?
Would anyone happen to know if the grille shell from a 1994 chevy would fit a 1990 gmc? I have the proper front lights and all but I'm aware that there was a style change for the front grille in 94, so I'm unsure if the dimensions have changed or anything?
Sorry if it may sound like an amateur question, but I'm new at this stuff and at modding trucks, and I'm just beginning to learn the ropes. Thanks, Jordan |

Okay, thank you for this. I've been doing all kinds of searches but I couldn't find anything that pertained to the question.
Thanks! |

Dont forget to get the filler piece below the grille on the 94.
The filler piece is part of the grille on the earlier style. |

Don't forget the turn signal housings. The 88-93 signals are set into the grille at a different depth, so they might not look right installed in the 94-up grille.

www.lmctruck.com has an on-line catalog that you can download to keep on your computer (pdf format).
www.latemodelrestoration.com has a nice one, too. www.classicparts.com is another you might want to check out.

Re: 1994 Grille Shell on 1990 GMC?
Would I be able to take the filler off of the original grille shell and put it onto the new grille? And what is needed to be done about the turn signal housings?
Thanks! |

No use the filler off the 94 grille and use turn signals housings off the 94 also.

My '88 has the '94 grill. I don't know what was done to it to work but it looks good.
