hood grill combo question

Can the 67-68 grill/fenders fit with the 69-72 hood? If not what modications to the fenders/hood are necessary?

Re: hood grill combo question

It will look like it has an underbite. The grille will be sticking out about three inches in front of the edge of the hood. It will bolt up to the hinges, but you ain't gonna like the way it looks.

Re: hood grill combo question

Just get the 67-68 hood and bolt it on there. These hoods look a lot better
IMO.

That's probably what i'll do. I like the 69+ hood better though. It has a classier look to me. Thanks for the replys.

Re: hood grill combo question

if you are a top notch fabricator and body man, or you have the wallet to pay one for a 30 - 50 hr labor modification, then it can be done.
Otherwise, and the simple answer, it ain't gonna work.
