64-66 Gauge cluster

Has anyone attempted to make a new gauge cluster? I have seen replacement gauge clusters for sale that go in the factory location and allow you to install aftermarket spedo, tach, etc. Has anyone made one before? If you so, do you have any pics?

Re: 64-66 Gauge cluster

My 65 has a custom gauge cluster but I didnt make it. Ill investigate it further in the next week or so and let you know what I find out. It has all dolphin gauges, white face with black numbers mounter in what looks like a birch veneer panel. The rest of the dash is finished in the same birch like veneer.

Re: 64-66 Gauge cluster

Yeah i made two of them. The first was out of aluminum i made it on a bridgeport mill, and the second is made out of smoked plexi glass and i just cut it out with a router. Ill take a pic and post it tonight.

(aluminum one is in my signature)
