Just called and everything is still available. Everything except for the seat that is. I pick that up tomorrow afternoon. :-)

I drove my 2+2 out to Ottawa back in the late 80s and a gas station attendant grabbed his buddy to show him my wheel well trim. Like it was so rare to see it survive that they'd never seen it before!

Saskatchewan is colder than anything except maybe Winnipeg, but they don't use salt. In fact that's why, it's too cold... salt does nothing. Good thing!

Congrats on getting the seat! If I had need for a seat that's what I would have wanted.

Not if I get there first! :-)

Actually, if you're headed there, could you check the dash pad? If its uncracked and nice I could use it (my truck is blue, but so is this one's interior).

Wish I could get my hands on the am radio. Are they shipping parts or is it pick up only?

Re: nice wrecked GMC

Well, I just hope that's not one of our members. Sad day for that truck. looks like someone took care of it pretty well. I couldn't imagine... I am usually either driving my dad's truck (who passed away in the spring) or the 68, I would be crushed if I lost either. However if something happened to my dad's truck (01 sierra) I would likely transplant the 5.3 ls into the 68.

Welding is a lot like sex, you don't have to be great with the rod as long as you thoroughly prep the surface and your good at grinding

Stupid question but what is the knob on the right side of the dash for? Mine has 2 on the left side but none on the right. Left is lights and wipers. Mine has a GM square cover on the right side...
