Fuse blowing on horn
I know this is a forum for 67-72 trucks but I think this may be a common problem. And I also posted this on the 88-98 board
I bought a 99 Silverado w/ the LS trim. The theft control blows the horn when you hit the lock button on the key fob 2 times. I had the truck about a week and 2 times the fuse for the horn has blown. Any ideas why this happens? Thanks, Pitterpat

start with the basics, have you inspected the horn(wires dangling maybe rubbing metal)? correct fuse size, is the amp rating right?
when you replace the fuse can you make it blow again by honking the horn or is it only though the alarm? and if all else fails get a B.F.H. lol |
