Plastic vent flaw normal?

I just bought a set of reproduction black plastic defrost/heater vents, and was wondering if there should be a noticeable round ridge on the top of one. It is obviously a casting flaw, and only one side has it..the other is smooth like factory. I was just interested to know if this is normal for these parts or should I try to exchange the one vent? Thanks.
